During my down time this week I went through all of our weddings from 2011 and picked out one of my favorite pictures (which was extremely hard to do) from each. I usually have this done by the end of January but with our studio closing I ran a little behind. We are so thankful for the opportunity to celebrate with all of our happy couples and capture their special moments. We wish them all the best of luck and look forward to working with all of them again in the future.

Jessica and Matt started their new life together as husband and wife on Friday May 20th in Peoria at the Cornerstone Building. The celebrated with family, friends, and their two children. While the facility was being flipped from ceremony to reception the couple and wedding party posed for pictures outside.

Erin and Karl got married at a beautiful golf course in Princeton, IL on May 28th. While the rain may have kept us inside for the ceremony the charming clubhouse was full of character and provided an amazing background for pictures. Spirits were high and we giggled and laughed with their light-hearted wedding party and family.

Jenelle and Brian said "I do" on a Sunday afternoon in May. Their ceremony and reception were both held at the Scottish Rite in downtown Peoria with a quick trip to Oak Street for fun and creative pictures with the wedding party. The best part about their Sunday ceremony... it didn't interfere with race day!

Claire & Jeff had a small, intimate ceremony in rural Eureka on June 4th. The couple proclaimed their love for each other among close friends and relatives. This unique wedding featured three different receptions! The first cocktail hour was before the ceremony as their guests arrived. The second cocktail hour followed the ceremony and the third was located at June in Peoria Heights. Their day was not only special but very unique.

Gretchen and Bill celebrated their special day in Peoria with a ceremony at St. Thomas and reception at East Port on July 9th. The couple decided to stop at Luthy Botanical Gardens with their wedding party for fun, creative pictures. After dinner we stole the couple away for pictures on the balcony overlooking the Illinois River.

Kaitlin and Mathew were married on June 11th at Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington. Between the ceremony and reception we made the short drive to Washington Square where we captured the bride and groom with their wedding party. On our way back for the reception the couple stopped for pictures on the grounds of the church they love so very much.

Kelli and Brian, who were united as one on July 30th, celebrated with family and friends at Embassy Suites in East Peoria. Before the reception festivities began the couple posed for pictures in downtown Peoria. This fun couple wanted to capture locations that have a special place in their heart and past.

Sarah and Jason were named "Man and Wife" at South Seas Island Resort in Florida on September 10th.
Surrounded by family and close friends the couple said "I do" during sunset on the beach. The landscape (and bride) were stunning. Following their return to Illinois the couple hosted a reception at the Waterhouse in downtown Peoria.

Katie and Brian professed their love for each other on October 1st in front of family and friends at St. Jude Catholic Church. Their beautiful ceremony was followed by posed pictures on Grandview Drive with their wedding party. Upon arrival at Stoney Creek Inn the couple snuck down to the waterfront for more pictures with the Illinois River and sunset as the background.

Alexa and Todd were married on October 8th in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Everything about their special day was personal and perfect... the officiant was a dear friend of the bride and Chris is a friend of the groom. Before celebrating with family and friends at the reception the couple posed for pictures in front of gorgeous fall leaves.

Heather and Nate held their ceremony on October 15th at the cutest little church we have ever been to. Located in Pekin, Town and Country Baptist Church was the perfect location for their intimate ceremony among family and friends. The couple posed for pictures in the church yard with open fields and bails a of straw before arriving at the Moose Lodge by horse and carriage.

Robyn and Steve finally said "I do" on October 22nd in Dunlap. The couple invited family and friends to a simple ceremony followed by a casual reception at the American Legion. We were blessed with an unusually warm fall day and took full advantage of the weather by posing for pictures outside.

Stephanie and Derrik said their vows on November 5th at the Methodist Church of Lacon. Following the ceremony the couple loaded their wedding party onto a party bus for posed pictures at the Larimer family farm. They celebrated with family and friends with a reception at Five Points in Washington.

Carrie and Dennis united their families on December 17th at St. Peters Luthern Church in East Peoria. Their intimate ceremony featured the uniting of not only themselves but their children. Following the ceremony the couple journeyed to Stoney Creek Inn for their reception, posing for a few pictures on the riverfront.
