This new arrival is only 7 days old and absolutely precious. I had so much fun this morning with their perfect family of four. I giggled while taking these pictures and the giggles continued as I edited them.
Our session started by trying to get both boys together... as you could guess it's a little tricky getting a two year old to hold still with a newborn so we decided to let him play and focus on these individual shots. I supplied the basket and the blanket then utilized the natural light and wood floor in their living room. Mr. Sanders wasn't quite sure what to make of being naked and in a basket but soon got comfy and cozy.
After spending time in the basket and capturing a ton of adorable facial expressions we decided to move into the master bedroom to take advantage of more natural light. Mr. Sanders was wide awake at this point and loved looking at the huge black camera that was directly in his line of sight.
Around this time his older brother decided taking pictures wasn't so bad and cuddled up to his new little brother for some precious pictures. One can't help but go ape over these!
(Well... I'm sure the boys won't go ape when they're 16 but that makes them all the more precious).
Once the boys were done bonding I asked to snap a few family pictures... nothing fancy just a way to remember what their family looked like when their second baby arrived. I didn't want these to be traditional but carefree and fun with the focus on the baby.
